IJGO Highlights Gynecologic Health Needs Among Incarcerated Women
International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics (IJGO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Over 740 000 women were incarcerated globally in 2022. That’s a 60% global increase since the year 2000.
This review examines the range of benign and malignant gynecologic conditions experienced during incarceration, including the prevalence, special management considerations, access to services, and the patient experience.
