ESHRE Opens Stakeholder Review for Updated IVF Laboratory Recommendations
European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re pleased to announce that the updated hashtag#ESHRE Recommendations on Good Practice in the IVF Laboratory are now open for stakeholder review!
The ESHRE IVF Labs Working Group has comprehensively updated recommendations covering laboratory organisation, quality management, safety protocols, and IVF procedures – from oocyte retrieval to cryopreservation.
What’s new in this update?
- Embryo culture and transfer now in separate sections
- Expanded part on sperm preparation covering all andrological procedures
- New chapter on embryo biopsy procedures
Review period: 3 February – 3 March 2026
