Precious Chukwuemeka: Thankful to Fertility News for Seeing My Work and Giving My Voice a Platform

“Today, I found out that one of my LinkedIn posts was recognized and featured as a voice on Fertility News.

And honestly?

I’m still taking it in.

Because to someone scrolling through LinkedIn, it may look like ‘just another feature.’

But for me, it represents something much bigger.

Because sometimes, a small recognition can feel like a very big confirmation.

It reminds me of the girl who started this Embryology journey with a lot of uncertainty, questions, and a dream that sometimes felt much bigger than her current reality.

I’ve had moments of doubt. A lot!

Moments where I wondered whether I was progressing fast enough.

Moments where the road ahead looked unclear.

But I kept learning.

I kept showing up.

I kept writing.

I kept talking about reproductive health.

And most importantly, I kept believing that my voice could eventually matter beyond the laboratory.

This recognition feels like one of those little milestones that makes you pause and say: ‘Maybe I’m actually on the right path.’

Because my vision has never been limited to just becoming good at what happens inside an IVF laboratory.

I want to contribute to conversations around sexual and reproductive health, assisted reproduction, fertility equity and access to quality reproductive healthcare.

I want to become a stronger voice for people whose reproductive health needs are often overlooked.

And someday, I hope to take those conversations beyond social media and professional spaces… to the rooms where policies are shaped, decisions are made, and the future of global health is discussed.

Yes, I’m dreaming big. Very big!

But I’ve learned something on this journey:

You don’t always get to see the entire staircase.

Sometimes, you just have to take the next step.

And today, this recognition feels like one of those steps.

So, to Fertility News, thank you for seeing my work and giving my voice a platform.

And to everyone who has read, commented, shared, encouraged, corrected, challenged, or simply followed along as I navigate this journey,

I’m only getting started.

Here’s to becoming a stronger embryologist, a better communicator, a committed SRH advocate, and one day, a voice in the rooms where reproductive health decisions are made.

The journey continues.
