Sujoy Dasgupta: Honored to Present Our Research at ESHRE 2026!
Sujoy Dasgupta, Consultant, Reproductive Medicine at Genome Fertility Centre, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Pleased to share that I presented our research poster at the 42nd Annual Meeting of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) held in London, United Kingdom, from 6–8 July 2026.
Poster Title: Role of hormone therapy in infertile men with severe oligoasthenozoospermia and non-obstructive azoospermia according to the APHRODITE criteria: A prospective cohort study
This prospective cohort study evaluated the role of biologically guided hormone therapy based on the APHRODITE criteria in men with severe male factor infertility. Our findings suggest that appropriately selected patients may experience improved spermatogenic outcomes, with a reduction in the need for surgical sperm retrieval in some cases. These results further support the concept of personalized treatment in male infertility rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
It was an honour to present this work at one of the world’s largest scientific meetings in reproductive medicine and to interact with researchers and clinicians from across the globe.
My sincere gratitude to my co-authors Dr. Mainak Banerjee Abhyuday Chanda, collaborators, and all the patients who participated in this study. Special thanks to Dr Sandro Esteves for his guidance and support.”
