Yinka Oyelese: Honored to Present at the World Congress of The Fetal Medicine Foundation!
Yinka Oyelese, Director of Obstetric Imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“An unforgettable experience speaking today at the World Congress of The Fetal Medicine Foundation in Vienna.
Nearly 3,000 delegates from 121 countries gathered for one of the world’s premier meetings in fetal medicine. It was a tremendous honor to present our work on vasa previa—a condition that was once considered an unavoidable cause of perinatal death, but which is now largely preventable through prenatal diagnosis and appropriate management.
The discussion that followed, and the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from around the world, made the experience even more rewarding.
Thank you to The Fetal Medicine Foundation for the invitation, and to everyone who attended, asked questions, and continues to work toward improving outcomes for mothers and babies.”
