Gonadotropin Type and Dose May Shape Ovarian Response Efficiency – RBMO
Reproductive BioMedicine Online (RBMO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This new study by Lien Dhaenens and colleagues in Belgium demonstrates that gonadotropin type and dose significantly influence both the magnitude and efficiency of ovarian response.
Corifollitropin alfa, despite being used in a poorer-prognosis cohort, outperformed or matched other FSH types in key efficiency outcomes.
The authors say their findings support a paradigm shift toward individualized, efficiency-based metrics in ovarian stimulation, prioritizing quality and safety over absolute yield alone.
