Anuja Dokras: PCOS Is Getting a New Name and It Could Change Women’s Healthcare Forever
Anuja Dokras, Founder’s Professor in Women’s Health at University of Pennsylvania, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Helena Teede et al. publsihed in The Lancet:
“So pleased to share our publication on the process, global engagement and reasons for changing the name of polycystic ovary syndrome PCOS to polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome PMOS. Paving the way towards better care for our patients and increased research funding.
