Owen Xian Wen Tan: New Insights on β2-Glycoprotein I in Thrombosis Regulation
Owen Xian Wen Tan, Research Officer at Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre (SIDC), shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper published in Elsevier:
“Grateful to share our recent publication in Autoimmunity Reviews on the regulatory roles of β2-glycoprotein I (β2GPI) in thrombosis, hemostasis, and autoimmune-associated disease.
This work reviews current understanding of how β2GPI functions in physiological balance, and how anti-β2GPI antibodies contribute to pathological thrombosis and vascular inflammation, particularly in conditions such as antiphospholipid syndrome.
Read the paper here.”
