Why The Medication in Your IVF Cycle is Chosen So Carefully – Fertility Plus
Fertility Plus shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Why your medication is chosen so carefully
Have you ever wondered why the medication in your IVF cycle is chosen so carefully, almost as if it’s tailored just for you? That’s because it is!
The drugs that gently stimulate your ovaries don’t all work the same way. Some contain a single hormone, called FSH, while others are a combination of FSH and LH activity, known as HMG. This hormonal balance plays a crucial role in how well your eggs mature and the quality of the embryos that follow.
So if your protocol looks different from a friend’s, that isn’t a mistake. It’s personalisation!
Have questions about your own treatment plan? We’re always happy to talk it through.
