Nuri Peker։ 1PN and 3PN Embryos May Still Represent a Potential Option

Nuri Peker, IVF Trainer, Medical Doctor, and Reproductive Endocrinologist at Acibadem Healthcare Group, shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper he co-authored with colleagues published in PLOS One.

“Our study shows that blastocyst formation, euploidy, and pregnancy rates from abnormally fertilized 1PN and 3PN embryos are markedly lower than those from normally fertilized embryos.

However, in selected cases where no transferable 2PN blastocysts are available, embryos derived from 1PN and 3PN zygotes may still represent a potential option”

Title: Clinical outcomes of 1PN- and 3PN-derived blastocysts in the absence of transferable 2PN embryos: A retrospective analysis

Authors: Nuri Peker, Ayşen Yücetürk, Esra Tığlı, Özge Karaosmaoğlu, Burak Elmas, İlke Özer Aslan, Bülent Tıraş
