Ankita Sethi: An Insightful Afternoon at First IVF, Abu Dhabi

“Advancing the Science of Ovarian Stimulation: Learning, Sharing and Evolving!
An insightful afternoon at First IVF, Abu Dhabi, attending a scientific session by Diego Ezcurra.
The session, ‘From Follicular Recruitment to LH Surge Prevention: Key Strategies,’ explored important aspects of controlled ovarian stimulation and the science behind optimising IVF treatment protocols.
As a Reproductive Medicine specialist, I find it fascinating how our understanding of follicular dynamics, gonadotropin physiology, and LH surge prevention continues to shape individualised ovarian stimulation strategies.
My key reflection: Successful ovarian stimulation is not simply about retrieving more oocytes.
It is about understanding ovarian physiology, tailoring treatment to each patient’s reproductive potential, and making evidence-based clinical decisions.”
