“IVF gave me hope of becoming a mother.
But it also took parts of me that I had to rebuild.
I went through 6 IVF cycles.
The hormones.
The constant uncertainty.
The strain on my body and marriage.
But what surprised me most was how much of it stayed with me after treatment ended.
Even after I finally became a mother, the years of pain didn’t just disappear.
Because getting the baby you’ve dreamed of doesn’t erase everything you went through to get there.
And I wish we talked about that more.
