Zsofia Jamieson: Katherine VanHise and Carmen Messerlian Join the Fertility Class as Medical and Scientific Advisors

Zsofia Jamieson, Co-Founder of The Fertility Class, shared on LinkedIn:

“A big milestone for The Fertility Class, and one that feels incredibly meaningful to me.

Today, we’re announcing that Katherine VanHise, MD, an OB-GYN and reproductive endocrinologist, and Dr. Carmen Messerlian, a reproductive and environmental epidemiologist, are joining The Fertility Class as our Medical and Scientific Advisors.

Before we started building The Fertility Class, we kept coming back to the same question: why wasn’t functional movement a bigger part of the conversation for women trying to conceive?

For years, we had been teaching this work privately. We wanted to bring it to women more widely, and build something specifically for those navigating their cycles, trying to conceive, or going through fertility treatment, with a program that takes their reproductive physiology into account.

Over the past few years, we’ve developed that work into a structured program and built an international community around it. Having Katherine’s clinical expertise and Carmen’s scientific perspective alongside us as we continue to build The Fertility Class is a significant step forward.

Their involvement will help guide our program’s development and open up opportunities to explore this area through research.

On a personal note, one of the most rewarding parts of my career has been the opportunity to work with extraordinary women. I feel incredibly fortunate to have Katherine and Carmen, two accomplished, brilliant and genuinely kind women, alongside us for this next chapter.

Thank you for believing in what we’re building and for supporting us in our mission.
