Oluyemisi Famuyiwa: From LinkedIn Conversations to Real-Life Connections at ASRM 2026
Oluyemisi Famuyiwa, Medical Director at Montgomery Fertility Center, shared on LinkedIn:
“From LinkedIn conversations to real-life connections at ASRM!
One of the unexpected joys of sharing my thoughts on reproductive medicine through my LinkedIn newsletter has been the opportunity to connect with brilliant colleagues who challenge ideas, offer new perspectives, and keep the scientific conversation going.
Dr. Ronald F. Feinberg, has been one of those colleagues. When I started writing about PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) and rethinking how we understand PCOS, he engaged enthusiastically in the discussion.
At one point, he remarked how much he enjoyed our ‘nerdy talks’ on LinkedIn. I loved that!
So imagine my delight when we finally connected in person at the ASRM Scientific Congress in Baltimore!
It was wonderful to put a face to the thoughtful exchanges we’ve shared online.
This is what I love about medicine and science. We may not always agree on every interpretation, but curiosity, respectful debate, and a shared commitment to advancing reproductive medicine make us all better clinicians.
Here’s to more nerdy conversations, Dr. Feinberg!”
