How It’s Changed Over the Years: HFEA to Discuss UK Fertility Regulation at ESHRE 2026 – HFEA

Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Heading to European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) this year? Join us at 11:45am on 8 July for our session, ‘Past, present, and future: Regulating a changing fertility sector.’

Established in 1991, the HFEA was the first regulatory body of its kind in the world. Since then, the sector has grown, adapted, and changed in ways not thought possible in 1991.

Join our Chair Julia Chain, Chief Executive Peter Thompson, and SCAAC members Ying C. Cheong and Peter Rugg Gunn as they discuss the UK’s regulatory model, how it’s changed over the years, and what needs to happen to futureproof it in the years to come.”
