Psychosocial Supports for Staff in Maternity Hospitals and Units Following Adverse Events – PLRG
Pregnancy Loss Research Group (PLRG) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Psychosocial supports for staff in maternity hospitals andunits following adverse events: mapping study in the Republic of Ireland
Employee Assistance Programme, Occupational Health, Clinical Supervision and After Action Review were the most frequently reported supports available to staff following adverse events.
Limited information was provided and confusion was evident between different support types.
More work is needed to better understand how to best support staff and how to improve the uptake and impacts of such supports.
