Silpi Saikia: Significant Milestone With Standard IVF Insemination
Silpi Saikia, Embryologist at Institute of Human Reproduction, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Excited to share a significant milestone in my journey as an embryologist.
Refining clinical techniques is a continuous process, and I recently had the opportunity to lead a case using standard IVF insemination. While ICSI is a vital tool in our field, there is a specific technical satisfaction in seeing successful natural fertilization in the dish.
The results were incredibly rewarding:
- Retrieval: 12 Oocytes
- Fertilization Rate: 100%
- Development: 4 high-quality Blastocysts
As I continue to transition into more independent clinical responsibilities, cases like these reinforce my commitment to precision and patient outcomes. Every successful fertilization is a step closer to the ultimate goal of helping families, and I’m looking forward to taking on more complex cases as I grow within the lab.”
