“Summary of publication yesterday below. Early pregnancy care not mentioned in all 200 pages. Yet early pregnancy is still a cause of maternal death (MMBRACE) early pregnancy care affects more women than any other gestation
50% of all women have an early pregnancy complication
25% of all pregnancies miscarry
1:80 pregnancies are ectopic
When will early pregnancy have the voice, recognition and funding it deserves? Your not pregnant from 16 weeks onwards – we need to do more.”
