Your Fertility Is More Dynamic Than a Single Snapshot Can Reveal – Fertility Plus
Fertility Plus shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The numbers behind your fertility are much more dynamic than a single snapshot can capture.
Explanation: After reviewing over 200 studies, scientists have quantified the exact rhythm of our ovaries
- During each of the 2 to 3 waves per cycle, a group of 4 to 14 follicles begins to grow
- By the time the largest follicle reaches about 10 millimeters, it begins to dominate, surviving while the competing follicles fade away
- How it can help IVF: Because we know that 4 to 14 healthy follicles emerge multiple times per month, patients no longer have to delay IVF treatments to wait for their next period to start.
- Luteal phase stimulation is completely viable, making the IVF process more flexible and efficient for those on a tight timeline
