“As the ART community gathers in London for the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) annual meeting, it’s important to remember that reproductive medicine is not really about studies and statistics, but chiefly about people, lives, hope, and loss.
If you have a couple of hours to spare, I invite you to step outside our professional bubble and visit ‘Tracey Emin: a second life’ at the Tate Modern.
This exhibition will speak to you of love, trauma, pain and healing, and reminds us that reproductive experiences -and reproductive care failures- leave lasting impact in people’s lives.
It is going to be a challenging and raw experience, and more so needed for that.”
