“AJOG Expert Review in Cesarean: Management of immediate and delayed postpartum hemorrhage with cesarean delivery – Proposed management algorithm for delayed PPH after cesarean delivery (postoperative)
∗CT scan may be considered to guide the surgical exploration when there is no plausible cause of the blood loss or of the woman’s worsening condition. However, the CT scan should not unduly delay the relaparotomy. The dotted lines represent therapeutic choices that are not considered to be the safest options and should be discussed carefully before choosing. Blue box refers to obstetric and surgical management. Green box refers to anesthesiology-critical care team management.
