The Truth about PCOS and Male Infertility – PCOS Millennials
PCOS Millennials shared on LinkedIn:
“For too long, infertility has been seen as a woman’s burden.
The truth is that fertility is a shared journey. Both partners deserve to understand their reproductive health, and no one should carry the blame alone.
In my latest article, I share my personal story, the research behind male infertility, and why I created a FREE Male Fertility Assessment through PCOS Millennials.
I Thought I Was the Problem | The Truth About PCOS and Male Infertility
For years, I believed that my PCOS was the only reason we couldn’t have a baby.
I blamed myself.
Every negative pregnancy test felt like another reminder that my body wasn’t doing what I hoped it would. Like many women living with PCOS, I thought the diagnosis explained everything.
Then one day, our journey changed.
We learned that fertility isn’t just about the woman. My partner also had his own fertility condition, and that realization completely changed the way I viewed infertility. It wasn’t about finding someone to blame.
It wasn’t about whose ‘fault’ it was.
It was about understanding that building a family is something two people do together, and fertility should be approached the same way.
That experience inspired me to write my newest article: PCOS and Male Infertility: Why Fertility Is a Shared Journey
In this article, I share not only my personal experience but also evidence from leading medical organizations showing that both partners should be evaluated when a couple is struggling to conceive. Yet in many cultures, the woman is still the first and sometimes the only person expected to undergo tests, treatments, and lifestyle changes.
This needs to change.
Male infertility is more common than many people realize, and many causes can be identified and treated when addressed early. Getting checked isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of love, responsibility, and partnership.
As the founder of PCOS Millennials, I created a free Male Fertility Assessment to help start conversations that many couples find difficult to have. It isn’t meant to diagnose a medical condition, but it can help men understand potential fertility risk factors and encourage them to seek professional advice when needed.
Take the free Male Fertility Assessment.
We also offer other free educational assessments, including:
- PCOS Self-Assessment
- Insulin Resistance Assessment
- Fertility and Ovulation Assessment

If you’re a husband, boyfriend, fiancé, or future father, I hope you’ll read this article with an open heart. If your partner has already gone through blood tests, ultrasounds, medications, and countless doctor’s appointments, perhaps it’s time to ask yourself one simple question:
‘Have I done my part too?’
And if you’re a woman living with PCOS, I hope this reminds you of something I wish someone had told me years ago:
You are not alone.
Your diagnosis does not define your future, and you should never have to carry the weight of infertility by yourself.
My dream is for more couples to face this journey together – with understanding instead of blame, compassion instead of guilt, and hope instead of fear.
If this message resonates with you, please consider sharing the article. You never know who might need to hear that fertility is a shared journey.”
