Efstathios Theodorou, Former Surrogacy Lead at The Centre for Reproductive and Genetic Health (CRGH), shared a post on LinkedIn by Shuang Hui Huang, Genetic Counsellor at National Taiwan University Hospital, adding:
“Men’s voices matter in fertility care too. Fertility treatment for couples is a journey for two.
Men’s psychological well-being during IVF, ICSI or PGT-M remains significantly under-researched. This UCL study – supervised by Elpiniki Chronopoulou – is addressing that gap.
If you’re a man who has been through fertility treatment – for any reason – your 5 minutes could help shape better clinical support

If you are a Fertility specialist/Gynaecologist, sharing with your patients costs nothing and helps build the evidence base we’ll all eventually rely on to support men better. Better data here means better tools for your clinic, not just this study. More data means better care for the men we treat.

“Hello everyone!
As part of my research at UCL, I am exploring men’s experiences, psychological wellbeing and support needs during fertility treatment.
I’m looking for men (18 years or older) who have experienced IVF, ICSI or PGT-M, whether treatment was due to:
- Male factor infertility
- Female factor infertility
- Both partners
- A genetic condition
- Or any other reason for fertility treatment
The questionnaire:
- Completely anonymous
- Takes approximately 5 minutes
- Designed to help improve understanding and support for men throughout the fertility journey
If you have experienced fertility treatment, I would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes to take part.
