Nitiz Murdia: The Future of IVF Is Not about Doing More – It’s about Making Better Decisions
Nitiz Murdia, Director of the Embryology Lab at Indira IVF Group, shared on LinkedIn:
“The future of IVF is not about doing more. It is about making better decisions.
For years, the fertility industry has understandably focused on numbers:
- More cycles.
- More embryos.
- More technology.
- More clinics.
- More data.
But IVF is not a numbers game.
Behind every cycle is a couple who has often waited years, made difficult choices, and placed enormous trust in their fertility team.
The next transformation in IVF, in my view, will come from better decision-making.
- Using technology and AI to support embryologists.
- Using data to personalise treatment.
- Reducing unnecessary interventions.
- Improving consistency in the laboratory.
- And, importantly, giving patients greater clarity about the choices they are making.
Technology should never replace the human judgement and empathy at the heart of fertility care.
It should make both better.
The real measure of progress in IVF won’t simply be how many cycles we perform.
It will be how intelligently we use science, technology and experience to give every patient the right decision at the right time.
That, to me, is where the future of IVF lies.”
