Mansi Thakkar։ Proud to Have Completed My MSc in Clinical Embryology
Mansi Thakkar, General Secretary at Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, shared on LinkedIn:
“MSc Clinical Embryology – Completed!
From studying the science behind reproduction to witnessing it come alive in the laboratory – this journey has been one of learning, challenges, and immense growth.
I’m incredibly proud to share that I have completed my MSc in Clinical Embryology.
A significant part of this journey was my clinical internship at Nimaaya Women’s Reproductive Health Centre, Vadodara, Gujarat, under the guidance of Dr. Yuvraj Singh and Dr. Yuvraj Jadeja. Being part of a high-case-load centre gave me the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to andrology and embryology procedures, while understanding the precision, responsibility, and consistency required in a clinical IVF laboratory. A huge thanks to Jignasha Vekariya and Mohammad Masi for their constant support.
Research has been an equally important part of my journey.
My dissertation, ‘Oocyte Yield and Dysmorphism as Prognostic Markers: A Comparative Study Among Different Ovarian Responders,’ allowed me to take my previous research interests a step further – from studying concepts at the research level to exploring their relevance in real clinical scenarios. Thanks to my faculties Prabodhini Patil and Saniya Chamanmalik for their constant support.
I’m deeply grateful to my mentors, faculty, colleagues, and everyone who has contributed to my learning along the way.
I am now actively looking for job opportunities as a Junior Clinical Embryologist and would be grateful to connect with fertility centres, IVF clinics, and professionals in the field.”
