Kate Ryder: Headed to ASRM 2026 and Looking Forward to Spending Time with Clinic Partners
Kate Ryder, Founder and CEO of Maven, shared on LinkedIn:
“Headed to the American Society for Reproductive Medicine – ASRM’s annual conference next week and look forward to spending time with our clinic partners.
Three years ago, we launched Maven Managed Benefit, bringing fertility care management and financial coverage together in one platform. By the end of this year, 2.2 million members will have access – doubling our client count this year, with more than a third of our clients now in the Fortune 500. More than half of those members have access because their employers switched to Maven from another fertility benefit, and we’re proud to support workforces including Amazon, Goldman Sachs, L’Oréal, Pinterest, and Whole Foods Market.
We built MMB because too much of the fertility benefit model centered on paying for treatment, with economics tied to markups and drug rebates that didn’t always lead to the right care for the patient.
Today, MMB coverage starts the moment someone starts thinking about having a baby. From there, members work with fertility coaches, reproductive nurses, OBs, REIs, and 30+ other specialists to find the safest, fastest path to parenthood. For some, that’s a $6 thyroid prescription that regulates their cycle. For others, it’s two rounds of IVF at one of our trusted clinic partners.
Across our first two years of outcomes data, covering more than one million lives, we’ve seen best-in-class pregnancy outcomes and cost per claimant more than 10% lower than under prior vendors. That’s a win for patients and employers together. This is what becomes possible when the benefit paying for care also helps people navigate it—and works closely with the clinicians delivering it.”
