Asma Khalil: This Week We Celebrate 78 Years of the NHS
Asma Khalil, Professor of Maternal Fetal Medicine at St. George’s Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This week, we celebrate 78 years of the NHS.
I feel incredibly privileged to be part of an organisation that has transformed countless lives through compassion, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to patient care.
I see every day the extraordinary dedication of the multidisciplinary teams who support women and families through some of the most important moments of their lives. It is a privilege to work alongside such talented and compassionate colleagues.
Thank you to everyone across the NHS—past and present—whose expertise, kindness, and commitment make a difference every single day.
Happy 78th birthday, NHS. Here’s to continuing to care, innovate, and inspire for generations to come.”
