Sara Peralta Flores: New Evidence Presented at ESHRE 2026 on Short-Interval Repeated Ovarian Stimulation

“Proud to present our work today at the ESHRE 42nd Annual Meeting in London, during the Poster Discussion Session on Reproductive Endocrinology.

We shared our findings on short-interval repeated ovarian stimulation in poor-prognosis patients.

  • Short-interval repeated stimulations were feasible and did not compromise subsequent ovarian response.
  • Higher oocyte yield was more frequently observed in subsequent cycles, especially with shorter inter-cycle intervals.
  • Prospective studies are needed to clarify whether mechanical ovarian activation after OPU may be clinically relevant.

An important clinical message: ovarian response can increase when consecutive cycles in short intervals are perfomed.
