Sara Peralta Flores: New Evidence Presented at ESHRE 2026 on Short-Interval Repeated Ovarian Stimulation
Sara Peralta Flores, European Certified Specialist in Reproductive Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Proud to present our work today at the ESHRE 42nd Annual Meeting in London, during the Poster Discussion Session on Reproductive Endocrinology.
We shared our findings on short-interval repeated ovarian stimulation in poor-prognosis patients.
- Short-interval repeated stimulations were feasible and did not compromise subsequent ovarian response.
- Higher oocyte yield was more frequently observed in subsequent cycles, especially with shorter inter-cycle intervals.
- Prospective studies are needed to clarify whether mechanical ovarian activation after OPU may be clinically relevant.
An important clinical message: ovarian response can increase when consecutive cycles in short intervals are perfomed.
Grateful to the ESHRE Scientific Committee, my co-authors, and ART Fertility Clinics – UAE for the opportunity and support.”
