Every Parent Wants the Best Start for Their Baby – WHO
World Health Organization (WHO) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Every parent wants the best start for their baby.
Newborn screening – a quick, simple check in your baby’s first days – can
detect a range of conditions early, including:
- Congenital heart conditions
- Sickle cell disease
- Congenital hypothyroidism
- Hearing loss
- Clubfoot
- Cleft lip and palate
Finding these early means families can access the right support sooner and
give their child the strongest possible start.”
