Predicting Pregnancy Outcomes in Adenomyosis with 3D Doppler – RBMO

Reproductive BioMedicine Online shared a post on LinkedIn about a paper by Xue Kea et al. published in RBMO:

“This study investigated the feasibility of using three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound to predict clinical pregnancy outcome following frozen embryo transfer in patients with internal adenomyosis.

This results revealed that the Vascular Index, which reflects the proportion of vessels within the tissue, did not increase, indicating that the degree of endometrial vascularization was not significantly different from that in the normal endometrial group. However, the flow index, which represents the intensity of blood flow, decreased, suggesting a reduction in the average flow velocity and altered blood flow dynamics within the vessels.
