Vikram Sinai Talaulikar: Free Access to Women’s Health Resources
Vikram Sinai Talaulikar shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It has been over 10 years since I first wrote for ‘The Global Library of Women’s Medicine’.
It provides free-to-access, expertly reviewed, multimedia clinical guidance for obstetric, gynecological and reproductive healthcare professionals, plus educational programs for women themselves, provided as a contribution to the safeguarding and improvement of women’s health and wellbeing worldwide.
David Bloomer was the President of The Global Library of Women’s Medicine. He founded the programme in 2006 and he and his wife funded its original development during its initial years. Subsequently, the programme has been largely funded by educational grants and donations plus the generosity of its many expert authors who have all contributed their input without any fee or other remuneration.
GLOWM was launched to make some contribution to the enhancement of women’s healthcare. All its many online resources, which now number some 20 000 items, are FREE to all users. This provision of clinical guidance is designed to cover the whole life course of women ranging from early adolescence to the reproductive years, the menopause and beyond.
Here is an article on Menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy which is free to access. Thank you GLOWM for the opportunity.
